White Beach is the main tourist beach of Boracay Island. It is the beach that is most well known not just for it’s beautiful white sandy beaches, where it’s name originates, but is also synonymous with the islands party scene where you can drink and dance till the early hours of the morning.
Bulabog Beach is located only a 5 min walk from the amenities of white beach and is a far more laid back beach experience. Bulabog beach attracts windsurfers and kiteboarders alike especially from November to April when the strong offshore winds blow along the the whole east coast and conditions are perfect to test the skills of most wind faring enthusiasts. It is also a less crowded and developed beach experience.
A number of accommodation types are scattered all over the island, ranging from luxurious hotel types to budget rooms. Depending on your budget you will find what you are looking for. It has to be said, of late the cheaper budget accommodation is becoming more scarce and harder to find and your money does not go as far as it would in neighboring countries such as Thailand.
